	Are you looking for a new place to spend your summer vacation? Tired of the hot beach, sand in your food and sweltering humidity? Or just tired of the heat at home? Come spend some time relaxing in the serenity of our cool mountain cabins. The average high temperature for August is 80 degrees and the low 58. There is canoeing in the New River, biking on the Virginia Creeper trail and hiking the Appalachian trail. Cool off in the swimming hole or relax on the porch and enjoy the cool mountain breeze. You can also pick from any of our available organic produce. We will have wonderful heirloom tomatoes through September along with peppers, fingerling potatoes and all varieties of lettuce. 	We discovered North Carolina's High Country in 1996, and it was love at first sight. The Blue Ridge Parkway is one of the world's "must ride" motorcycle roads. And it lived up to its reputation -- spectacular in every season! We rode it, and the thousands of miles of other roads in the High Country, every year. The urge to come to the High Country returned every year, and we found ourselves looking for that perfect place. It had to have water. It had to have views. It had to have trout fishing. It had to have roads that were a joy to drive. We found it here on Helton Creek! We have 61 acres which borders Helton Creek for a half mile and is only 2 miles from the New River. Ashe County is a beautiful, unspoiled place to bring your family to enjoy the many area activities, or to get away for a quiet weekend. Check out the Mountain Times "Summer Fun" and the Ashe County Chamber of Commerce for a complete listing of all the area activities. The Blue Ridge Parkway and all of its beauty is 20 minutes away. Too many tourists on the Blue Ridge? Then get out the Gazetteer, or the GPS, and make your own route. Eat at the downtown diner in Galax, Virginia. Visit the Barter Theatre in Abington, Va or ride the Virginia Creeper trail just 20 minutes from us. But if you don't want to get out of sight of your cabin, break out the fly rod and try for that 24 inch rainbow in "Old Forge Hole" which is right here on the property. Hike the Appalachian Trail or one of the many trails here on the property. Like we did, you will find every thing you want right here on Chapel Rock Ridge on Zydeco Moon Farm.		Helton Creek
