 Zydeco Moon Farm is one of only 2 organically certified farms in Ashe County. We do not use any herbicides or pesticides on our farm and are inspected each year by North Carolina Crop Improvement to insure we follow the organic regulations published by the United States Department of Agriculture. We have about two acres in production at this time and plan to have one more acre next year. We begin planting in March and will have produce into November. Our primary crops are asparagus, sugar snap and snow peas, all varieties of lettuce, beets, spinach, leeks, tomatoes, bell peppers, summer and winter squash and fingerling potatoes. We sell at the Watauga County farmers market and at the farm. During the growing season we are always here so stop by and visit or call ahead to have your order ready.
